Hi, I'm Colin.
Makes things about solving problems (and sometimes the idea of solving problems).
I'm an artist, father, husband, and builder. I work on multiple concurrent projects and always show the means of production — the process, the fingerprints, the screwups.
I have two young kids; my world is small. Necessity has given me confidence. I use storytelling, anxiousness, research, and humor to make things that address problems.
My central body of work, Essential Knowledge, is a series of instructional drawings I make to learn, retain information, and figure things out. They're how I share obsessions, life lessons, jokes, and how I reveal too much.
Hopefully, as I draw about what is most important, it will make us all a little more formidable when facing life's challenges.
